Writing Game Rules
Writing the rules to a game is as much game design as it is the capturing of a finished idea.

However, writing a game's rules is another way to design a game; instead of visually or kinesthetically designing the game, this is a chance for verbal, analytical thinkers to put the pieces of their game together.

- Present the below Google Slides presentation on Writing Your Game's Rules.
- I plan on having students record themselves teaching their game, and then transcribing that to help them with their initial draft.
- Have students write their rules using the Blank Rules Template following the Style Guide for Writing Board Game Rules. In addition to links, I posted these documents below as well if you want a quick look.
